My name is Lee Weiland.

And my mission is pretty simple:

I’m a husband and father.  I’ve been a youth pastor, educator, college teacher, artist, writer, philosopher, curriculum designer, martial artist, and acrobat with 4 degrees from University.

But from years of sitting as a student, artist, and teacher, I developed 5 BULGING DISCS, Spinal Stenosis, and Arthritis, as well as sustained a major Bicep Tear and Neck Injury, along with the Weight Gain as a result, which I overcame with Bodyweight Strength & Skills Training I created that’s called “POWERBATICS.”

Powerbatics and our coaching methodology at Pacific Rim Athletics is a very straightforward, SAFE, systematic method using customization and tailoring directly to the needs of each student.

In order to keep our student experience at the highest levels possible, Powerbatics and Pacific Rim Athletics is by application only.  We tailor all training to the individual and work closely 1:1 with all students of a certain Commitment Level to help them achieve their maximum potential.

Students slowly start to accumulate some very basic training clothing and gear.

You’ll need:

  1. A training bag
  2. A training journal (to log your wins & victories)
  3. If you need any joint braces
  4. And then board shorts, tight leggings (for cirque), and a rashguard (can be long sleeve, short sleeve, or tank).

In order to begin training with us, you must be relatively healthy person truly committed to your training.  If you need medical attention, an MRI, or on heavy medication, we do not accept insurance and rather insist that you consult with your physician.

However, Pacific Rim Athletics does accept Tricare out-of-network in Alaska for our face-to-face students with a referral from your medical doctor for anything related to:

  • Rehabilitation of past injuries
  • Post-surgical operation recovery to athletic performance
  • Physical Therapy
  • Weight management related to diagnosis

First, get a referral from your doctor, then Book a Spot to see if it’s a good match to work together.
